Established on October 6, 2012, at Cummins College of Engineering for Women (CCOEW) in Pune, our chapter proudly stands as the first and only ACM-W student chapter for women in the entire Pune region. Code-IT Competition
Code-IT is the flagship event of the ACM CCEW Student Chapter, returning this year to ignite and sustain students’ passion for coding. This competitive programming competition serves as a platform for students to demonstrate their programming prowess and logical thinking abilities. Moreover, Code-IT familiarizes participants with the aptitude exams commonly conducted during job placements, providing invaluable preparation for their future careers.

Deep Learning Workshop
Deep Learning has become a cornerstone in the field of automation, favored by millions of engineers and scientists worldwide for its ability to automatically learn features and handle large datasets effectively. From March 14 to March 19, 2022, our chapter organized an intensive online workshop on Deep Learning. This hands-on workshop was instrumental for students and faculty members interested in pursuing research or project work in the domain of Deep Learning, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel.
Innovation – A Step Towards Women Entrepreneurship
Every entrepreneurial journey begins with a creative idea. In line with this, we hosted a regional event on March 3, 2021, in collaboration with the PCCOEW ACM Chapter, Pune, aimed at fostering innovative thinking among students from all colleges. The event featured poster and blog writing competitions, providing a platform for participants to showcase their creativity and entrepreneurial spirit. Engaging technical talks further inspired over 150 participants, making the event a resounding success and encouraging women to pursue entrepreneurship in the tech industry.
